Sebastià has over fourteen years of engineering experience in industries related to renewable energies. Since joining Roumtech in 2021, his focus has been on the controls design for a variety of thermal energy storage concepts, where thermodynamics and power electronics play a primary role. As a senior engineer, he is a source of valuable experience and practical know-how that Roumtech can count on in every project. Before joining Roumtech, he had taken part in commissioning of wind turbines, control system certification (DNV-GL) and development of new control algorithms from the conceptual phase to field testing. He is an expert in wind turbine dynamics, loads reduction and energy optimization strategies, as well as grid integration and certification. He graduated in electronic engineering at the University of the Balearic Islands and earned a MSc in automation and electronic engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
